     Northern Lights Enterprises, Inc. a ZIPPO Company, is currently seeking qualified candidates for a full-time HYBRID employment opportunity as a Sales Coordinator- responsible for providing full-scale support to the sales team. This position acts as a liaison between the sales team and other internal departments to streamline onboarding new customers, managing existing customers, supporting tradeshow needs, and assisting in pipeline development all while gaining field experience.

    Primary Duties Include:

    • Ownership of the Sales order entry function, ensuring all customer orders are accurate and approved for submission.
    • Onboard new customers, managing customer contract requirements (billing, reporting, shipping, allowances etc.)
    • Coordinate with item setup team and EDI team to ensure timely turnarounds
    • Strive to setup internal process to document requirements and continually improve onboarding process.
    • Learn and master all customer provided reporting tools and portals.
    • Create standardized documents for item setup and portal maintenance facilitating training to appropriate internal parties.
    • Facilitate resolution of operational issues to ensure compliance and minimize chargebacks.
    • Organize RFQs for contract manufacturing opportunities and coordinate with R&D to ensure project is on-track, managing customer expectations as delays occur.
    • Coordinate Digital Content uploads for online platforms – ensuring content is consistent can accurate
    • Assist in maximizing digital account performance – Shopify Retail, Amazon, and other online retailers – including product updates / new product launches, digital campaign execution, and reporting retrieval.
    • Develop prospecting strategies and documents with Sales Managers.
    • Create and continually evolve a Sales CRM Board in Monday.com. Generating monthly performance reports to evaluate progress and identify areas of improvement.
    • Proactive CRM administration including pipeline management and support - helping vet new leads and schedule meetings
    • Attend customer meetings and capture all notes in Monday.com ensuring all internal parties understand action items.
    • Keep everyone aware of deadlines and priorities for all sales projects in Monday.com. Regularly check the status of ongoing projects and send reminders to appropriate parties.
    • Coordinate assigned projects with a focus on customer growth opportunities and process improvements.
    • Attend tradeshows, participate in set up and/or tear down of booths.
    • Facilitate Product Pull lists per showroom for Shipping and Production.
    • Distribute all show leads to appropriate sales team member.
    • Create Trade Show Tracking Report to evaluate performance and ROI.
    • Administration and communication of all actions related to sales programs, performance tracking, and sales report
    • development.
    • Submit requests to product development for sell sheets, brochures, POP, and other marketing materials for all sales
    • channels.
    • Coordinate and manage controlled documents in the Sales Department and ensure that the sales team is following procedures as well as creating and training of new documentation when necessary.
    • Manage the Northern Lights Sales Portal in the ARC, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and readily available
    • Review business performance, promotional strategies, and provide product assortment suggestions for accounts.
    • Assist Sales Leader with the sales budget administration, tracking and auditing.
    • Capacity to serve as sales manager backup in the case of any short-term or long-term absences.
    • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
    • Always promotes a positive company image in house and while traveling.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.

     

    The Successful Candidate should have:

    • Associate degree preferred
    • Retail and giftware sales experience preferred
    • Demonstrated Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
    • Meticulous attention to detail and first-rate organization skills
    • Ambition to grow, take initiative, and assume new responsibilities
    • Self-Starter/Motivator - will work on multiple tasks/projects for multiple managers simultaneously
    • Adaptability – manage competing demands and deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events
    • Dependability – Consistently on time, responds to management direction, and solicits feedback to improve performance
    • Time management – effectively manages schedule to prioritize tasks and schedules time off accordingly coordinating with management and the team to ensure workload is covered
    • Available for travel to trade shows
