    Candle Information

    What types of wax do you use in your candles?

    We use a variety of natural wax bases including soy, beeswax, paraffin.

    Are your fragrances natural or synthetic?

    Our candles include a blend of natural essential oils and synthetic ingredients to ensure a clean burn and superior fragrance throw. We use natural ingredients whenever feasible and available.

    Do your wicks contain lead?

    No - all of our wicks are 100% cotton.

    Why is there always wax at the bottom that is wasted?

    Our candles are designed to self-extinguish leaving about ⅛” of wax at the bottom for safe burning. When the candle has burned completely, simply place in the freezer for a couple of hours and then pop the wax out with a knife to clean and re-use the vessel.

    Since Northern Lights operates in New York state all orders shipped within New York are subject to 8.75% sales tax.

    Yes, we have gift cards available in various amounts that can be used to shop our online store here.

    How do you calculate your shipping rates?

    Shipping charges are imported directly from UPS and are based on the weight and size of your order, and the ship-to address. For more information, please visit our shipping page.

    When will my order ship?

    Typically orders ship from our warehouse within 1-3 business days.

    How long will it take to receive my order?

    Shipping speed is based on the rate that you choose at checkout and your location.

    How can I track my order?

    When your order ships you will receive a shipping confirmation email that contains your tracking number. Alternatively you can see your orders progress by logging into your account.

    Do you ship to my country?

    Unfortunately, at this time Northern Lights only ships to the continental US and Alaska & Hawaii.

    Does Northern Lights have a return policy?

    All Northern Lights products carry a 100% money back guarantee. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return it within 30 days of purchase for a refund, exchange or credit. Please visit our Returns Page for more information.
