    Northern Lights Enterprises, Inc. a ZIPPO Company, is currently seeking qualified applicants for a full-time, hourly, employment opportunity as a Receptionist/Gift Shop/Customer Service Representative- Responsible for providing exceptional customer service and promoting a positive and professional atmosphere while greeting and assisting customers in the gift shop and reception area, maintaining inventory, and product knowledge for gift shop sales. Additionally responsible for maintaining switchboard, processing outgoing and incoming mail, customer service inquiries, and sales order entry.


    What you’ll do:

    • Answer telephones with prompt and professional customer service
    • Direct customers for proper assistance for appointments, voicemail messages or using the paging system
    • Field questions, give directions and always assist customers in person or over the phone
    • Monitor, log and distribute faxes throughout the day
    • Prepare all invoices, catalogs, and fundraiser information for mailing daily
    • Postage meter operations to include processing, sorting, and distributing all outgoing and incoming mail
    • Maintaining the copier and fax machines in good working order- arrange for service as needed
    • Maintain current product knowledge and availability
    • Process sales orders and maintain competency in D365
    • Maintain company confidentiality
    • Assist other sales and customer service with inquiries, damages, returns and credit memos
    • Responsible for always maintaining necessary Gift Shop inventory and supply levels
    • Prepare Gift Shop orders, receive and unpack all products, stock shelves, display and merchandise inventory
    • Maintain accuracy and consistency with pricing of all merchandise
    • Daily cleaning of Gift Shop and Reception area
    • Open/close cash register, balance daily paperwork, make bank deposit and track sales in the Gift Shop
    • Responsible for retrieving, stocking, and ordering office supplies for the copier and fax machines
    • Collate packets for numerous mass mailings throughout the year
    • Assist with tours and scheduling as needed
    • Preparation of filing as needed for many departments
    • Some holidays and weekend hours are required in the Gift Shop to provide top quality customer service
    • Other duties as needed

    What you’ll need:

    • High School education
    • Retail experience including product merchandising
    • Experience with multiple line switchboard operation
    • Professional communication skills both written and verbal to include grammar and proofreading
    • Experience using Postage meters and office equipment such as fax and copy machines
    • Highly organized and detail oriented
    • Excellent math skills and a high level of accuracy
    • Independent self-starter, yet a team player with the ability to work within time constraints
    • Dedicated to task completion and can do multiple tasks with interruptions
    • Must possess solid computer skills to include Microsoft Office, D365, knowledge of Email and Internet usage
    • Must be flexible and available to work additional hours to include weekends during the holiday season
    • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
