    Northern Lights Enterprises, Inc., a Zippo Company, and leading designer of luxury candles and artisan made accessories, is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time and majority remote employment opportunity as a Large Account Sales Professional – responsible for selling premium candles and home decorative accessories to high quality gift shops, department stores, mail order catalogs, and other wholesale customers while focusing on sourcing new customers and servicing existing customers within the giftware industry, thus supporting continued growth. 

    Duties include but are not limited to:

    • Sell candles and home decorative accessories
    • Build customer base through leads from trade shows and directories
    • Research prospective new customers
    • Establish new customer relationships by phone
    • Market products through catalogs, trade shows, and presentations
    • Develop and maintain positive customer relations by phone and on-site visits
    • Coordinate product availability, pricing, credit terms, and delivery with appropriate departments
    • Maintain and strive to exceed sales goal requirements on a consistent basis
    • Log all written and phone communications with customers
    • Data entry of sales orders
    • Attend trade shows as well as set up and/or tear down booth as needed
    • Follow up on all leads, orders, and shipments to ensure positive customer relations and encourage repeat orders
    • Keep accurate contact information and expense records
    • Prepare reports as needed
    • Exceed customer expectations through superior customer service
    • Continually strive to exceed sales dollars and assist in future company growth
    • Promote a positive company image at all times
    • Perform other related duties as assigned


    Education & Additional Eligibility Requirements:

    • Associate degree and/or equivalent wholesale, retail, or giftware industry sales experience preferred
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Must be highly organized and able to work independently
    • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
    • Availability for travel to trade shows and customer locations on a regular basis
